Clinical Psychologist (Bsc Hons, DClinPsy)
Carly is a registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC). She has worked within a broad range of child, young people and adult NHS Clinical Psychology Services. Her focus has been to provide a high standard of expertise to clients living with physical health, emotional, relational and adjustment difficulties. As a clinical psychologist, her training and expertise have enabled her to effectively provide assessments, interventions and evaluations at an individual, systemic and organisational level.
Within her clinical practice, Carly is passionate to work in partnership with her clients and she is committed to provide a tailored, bespoke intervention that draws upon different psychological models and evidence based practices. Her particular areas of interest include supporting individuals who are experiencing challenges associated with physical health difficulties and enabling clients to live a life associated with what is meaningful to them.
Carly’s research is published in several academic journals and she has presented at international and UK professional conferences. In addition to her doctorate training, she has completed the foundation courses in group analytic analysis and personal construct psychology.
